Private Health Insurance & Self-Funded Care
Whether you have private health insurance or prefer to self-fund your hearing care, we'll work with you to find the most appropriate solution for your needs and budget.
Many private health funds provide benefits towards hearing assessments, hearing aids and selected audiology services, depending on your level of cover. We work with most major private health funds, with rebates and annual limits varying between insurers and policies. We recommend contacting your health fund before your appointment to confirm your available benefits.
HICAPS is available for participating health funds, allowing you to conveniently claim your eligible rebate at the time of payment.
If you don't have private health insurance, we offer a full range of private hearing services, with personalised recommendations based on your hearing needs, lifestyle and goals. Our team will clearly explain all costs and available options, so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Medicare Rebates
Medicare rebates may be available for selected audiology services when you have a valid referral from your GP or medical specialist. Referrals are generally provided when further investigation of hearing loss, tinnitus, dizziness or other hearing-related concerns is clinically appropriate.
Depending on your individual circumstances and referral, eligible patients may be able to claim a Medicare rebate towards comprehensive diagnostic hearing assessments and other clinically necessary audiology services, such as earwax removal.
If you're unsure whether you're eligible, our friendly team can help confirm your referral and explain any Medicare rebates that may be available before your appointment.
